I am a hydrologist with a background in hydrological processes, empirical data analysis and physically-based modeling. This homepage provides information on my current and recent projects, my written work and (a little bit) about my person.

I have recently moved from North Carolina where I was working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Earth and Ocean Sciences Department at Duke University.

I joined the Chair of Hydrology at the University of Freiburg in Germany where I am working on phosphorus cycling in forest stands and investigate the role of subsurface flow processes on nutrient flashing and plant water and nutrient uptake.
